Recently we were asked by MAC Cosmetics to create 20 tiered cakes inspired by their new ‘Baking Beauties’ Collection for the official collection photo-shoot.
We were shown the individual make-up elements of the new collection and then created cake designs to match the colour palette and pretty floral and textured details.
MAC gave us the following project brief:
Exquisite. Scrumptious. Utterly indulgent. The artistry of cake decoration is a world filled with tempting creation, as is our colour collection inspired by the most couture of cakes. Gorgeous shades, from Mooncake and Pistachio Crème to Pink Buttercream, transform into a succulent showcase of confections for eyes, face, lips and nails…..
We had just 8 days to complete the project and our team worked day and night.
The MAC ‘Baking Beauties‘ collection has just launched and the image of our cakes can be seen the world over!
